Meet Amanda

Owner of Abiding Bookkeeping & Beyond, LLC

I'm Amanda, a Christian, wife, mother, and small business owner. I enjoy quality time spent with family, serving at my local church, as well as traveling and having adventures in this great country! I'll always love black coffee and dark chocolate - combining the two in a mocha is pure heaven! I married my middle school sweetheart and we have one son who is serving our country in the United States Coast Guard. After graduating my son from homeschool, I found myself at a crossroads, eager to explore the next season of my life. I'd been a bookkeeper on staff for a few years when I was encouraged by a friend and mentor to do some research on bookkeeping as a side gig. I quickly discovered that there is a great need among busy business owners. I felt God leading me to start my own education journey which led to becoming a certified bookkeeper with Bookkeeper Training School and a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. I realized that I thoroughly enjoy creating order out of chaos by getting things organized, especially in God's house. I believe we should be pursuing excellence in all that we do, which is why I didn't stop there. Since launching my business, I've continued my training and have added additional partnerships and certifications such as Gusto Payroll, Church Finances and Business Process Specialist. The sky is the limit, and I'm ready for God to take this business wherever He wants to!

Why Should You Hire a Bookkeeper?

There are many benefits to bookkeeping, but for small businesses perhaps the biggest benefit of all is knowledge. When you have a bookkeeper, your expenses and income are always organized and you can make sound business decisions because you are aware of what’s going on in your finances. Not knowing what’s coming in and what’s going out can hinder or perhaps even be detrimental to the growth of your business. BONUS - when tax time rolls around, there’s no stress about gathering all of the receipts and information to get your books in order when you work with a bookkeeper. They’re already in order so all you have to do is send the reports provided to you to your tax preparer - say goodbye to filing extensions! Additionally, outsourcing your bookkeeping means there’s no overhead cost for you. As an independent contractor, there’s no payroll to figure out nor is there a need for an office space.
